At Fox Oilfield, our expertise don't simply lie in hauling and trucking your goods from point A to B in Alberta and Western Canada. We also tend to think of ourselves as something of connoisseurs in the kitchen. Which is why we wanted to share with you our top secret recipe for the one and only Fox Burger!
So we present to you, the recipe:
1kg – Ground Beef
2 – Large Spicy Italian Sausage (Removed from sleeve)
2 – Eggs
1 Cup – Finely Chopped Onion
¼ Cup – Butter
½ Cup – Oats
½ Cup – Brown Sugar
3 Tablespoons – Sriracha (Or Other hot sauce)
3 Tablespoons – Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tablespoons – Fox Spice (Substitute Montreal steak, if you have to...)
Melt butter in bowl. Add oats, brown sugar, sriracha, Worcestershire sauce and fox spice. Mix gently until you have the consistency of molasses, place in microwave if necessary. Place ground beef, Italian sausage and eggs in a large mixing bowl then add the premade sauce. Mix everything together until you have an even consistency.
Recipe makes approximately 8 - 1/3 pound burgers.
